What We Do
Safari Insight Mission is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) not-for-profit humanitarian organization. We operate domestically and in Mozambique to organize and facilitate human/community development programs into sets of sustainable, holistic enterprises that use integrated mentor/apprentice relationships to transform the worldview and resultant quality of life among its constituents. We offer a unique and innovative approach to Christian missions that we have based on the directive in Matthew 28 to make disciples of all nations and teach them to obey the commands that He has given us. We do this by employing techniques of Biblical worldview transformation demonstrated by Christ and His Disciples in their ministries.

We desire to provide the Christian and social justice communities with a holistic, sustainable style of community development and missions that promises a physical, social and spiritual transformation to its participants (both givers and receivers). We seek to provide the following benefits to our constituents:
- A multi-faceted Return on Investment (ROI) in which donors, volunteers and partners of Safari Insight Mission reap spiritual return in the form of transformed lives among the poor in the communities in which we work. Additionally, they will experience the multiplication of their gift in the form of recycled loan-able funds in Mozambique and profits from its community business that are issued for our mission
- A sense of making a difference in the world through something we call “Responsible Capitalism”. This form of capitalism generates wealth and impacts the communities of the entrepreneurs that practice it. When accompanied with Christian mentoring/coaching, it carries the promise of leavening society with a Biblical worldview and increasing the spiritual capital of a nation while working to alleviate much of what ails it.
- A compelling invitation to manifest the priesthood of all believers which is the idea that mission, properly understood, is something that all Christians are called to do.
- A personal and communal transformation through involvement with the poor.
We do this by offering the following services and products to the Christian community:
- Provide consultation services to selected churches who wish to facilitate their involvement in the development of business as mission enterprises that function as subsidiaries of Safari Insight Mission
- Provide outsourced training on the organization of business development groups that raise venture capital for our Mozambican entrepreneurs and a service to manage those funds
- Facilitate the creation of a Business Development Service System that serves Christian entrepreneurs in Mozambique
- Launch Business as Missions enterprises in Mozambique that serve as on-the-job training and Christian apprenticeship communities
- Published literature that instructs on how to perform the above mentioned activities and on how to use those activities as vehicles to propagate and install a Biblical worldview
- Conduct in-house and outsourced seminars that utilize our published materials to educate our constituency and potential constituents in the principles, practices, and purposes of our work.

We do more than simply provide Biblical business assistance to combat poverty and transform communities. We engage our constituents in Kingdom of God enterprises that significantly challenge their conformity to this world and its view of reality. We are called to embrace the doctrine of the priesthood of all believers, to restore dignity to all vocations as a calling from God which is integral to bringing His will about on earth, to show solidarity across geographic, cultural, and economic lines, and to practice the stewardship mandate of Genesis 1:28, the compassion mandate of Matthew 25 in their obedience to the discipleship of all nations mandate of Matthew 28:19-20. In this way Safari Insight Mission helps people reclaim their identity and vocation as God’s children and fellow stewards in God’s mission to rule in His creation.
