Corson Moves to Mozambique - On January 20, 2010 Al Corson left the United States for Africa. Al will be Safari Insight Mission's first mentor/coach to accept the challenge of permanent reloaction to Mozambique. Al is the co-founder and President of Safari Insight Mission and has dedicated his life to the advancement of the poor and disadvantaged people in Mozambique. Al will be spending a few weeks in South Africa completing necessary paperwork, visas, etc. for entrance into Mozambique, then will move to a rental house in Chimoio in the late February-early March timeframe. Once there, Al will begin the search to hire a language/cultural advisor who will help him improve his Portuguese language skills, assist with day-to-day activities and mission related business, and advise him on the culture and needs of the local community. Al will work for the next 18 to 24 months to further define the scope of work and most important projects to begin as well as identify local people who are already in business or wish to engage in entrepreneurial ventures with a clear goal towards establishing their presense as leaders in their families, churches, and communities.
