Mission Objective 1: To develop cause and effect thinking in the Africans of Mozambique and South Africa. This type of thinking will challenge their tribal animistic/mystic world view. Because of their ties to animism and mysticism they have no true understanding of the concept of cause and effect. Therefore they can not have a true understanding of salvation since salvation is the result of cause and effect in our lives with Jesus Christ.

Results of no cause and effect understanding: AIDS. Malaria, cholera, unhealthy diet, no solid family units, promiscuous sexual relationships between men and women, married or not.

Missions Objective 2: To Develop a Biblical world view in the African people. What is a Biblical world view? Every spiritual thing must find its basic and essential meaning in Jesus Christ- His nature, His character, His deeds. In other words, basic biblical cause and effect.

How will this happen? By using practical projects, their tribal/animistic world view is challenged. These projects are designed to develop their ability to think analytically, while also building on a Biblical world view. As cause and effect is understood, a door is opened to understand the cause and effect aspect of salvation.

What will it take to get it done? It will take a team of missionaries to travel village to village and work one on one with the villagers. The plan is to work with the villagers on various projects utilizing developmental teaching to accomplish these projects. (Projects such as: fish farming, water wells, and cattle projects.) Not staying at any one village for an extended period of time to prevent development of codependency. The missionaries will return periodically to encourage progress.
